Whale Watching is one of the most incredible activities in Baja! The peninsula is home to 3 natural sanctuaries that birth and breed grey whales in Mexico-Bahia de Guerrero Negro, Laguna de San Ignacio and Bahia Magdalena. These sanctuaries receive more than 200 species each season that travel year-round to Alaska and back. We can proudly say, they are all Mexican mammals!!
Humpback whales come and visit from their journeys through New Zealand, Hawaii or each of the south and north poles where the birth of new whales has been documented. These amazing creatures’ journey through the coasts of Baja in open waters. Blue Whales, however, travel from all around the world. These 100 feet and 200-pound beauties are fans of the Sea of Cortes and eat almost 8 tons of planktonic and crustaceans a day.
We take you to the right spot for 3 days. You will eat and drink the best food and beverages to enjoy this spectacular experience. Groups are for 8 people maximum. Small groups can be designed on request.
