What We Do
We’re more than a safari agency.
We curate high-comfort experiences in Baja California that connect you with our planet’s living spectacles—and yourself.
Our overlanding journeys are designed to discover, nurture knowledge, and foster personal growth.
We don’t just show you a destination; we invite you to explore, learn, and transform.
Happening Now:
The Mobula Migration
From April to July
Every year, between April and July, tens of thousands of mobula rays visit the shores of the Sea of Cortez on the Baja California peninsula in Mexico. In this incredible experience, you will witness, in person, large congregations of these beautiful animals, which constitute one of the most incredible natural spectacles on our planet. The congregations here are among the largest in the world. It is an event so impressive that it has been featured on the BBC’s Blue Planet and numerous National Geographic documentaries.
Imagine diving into a school of thousands of these Mobula Rays as they move through the ocean and witness their acrobatics as they jump out of the water by the hundreds. Watch as they glide effortlessly through the water in unison just a few feet away.
This is an annual migration, and there is nothing like it on Earth.
Upcoming Retreats
Nowadays, coexistence with devices, video calls, and emails has made the work dynamic feel very impersonal. Created in partnership with global authorities, our retreats are designed to reconnect you with nature - and yourself.
Five days. Wild landscapes.
The ancient language of rope.
A nomadic journey through Baja California Sur, where Shibari becomes a tool for presence, connection, and creative expression — practiced in canyons, desert, and open sea.
Shibari is a Japanese art form rooted in the meditative use of rope. At its core, it is a practice of presence — between two people, or within oneself.
Far from what popular culture sometimes suggests, Shibari in its truest form is about communication, trust, and attention. The person tying must listen. The person being tied must surrender — not to another person, but to the moment itself. Rope becomes the medium through which that exchange happens.
Practiced in nature, away from screens and noise, it becomes something else entirely: a way of slowing down, feeling your body, and connecting with another human being without distraction.
No prior experience is required. What matters is curiosity, openness, and a willingness to be present.
WHAT THIS IS
This is not a workshop. It is not a tour.
It is a journey designed for people who want to feel more — more present, more connected, more alive. Over five days, you will travel through some of the most powerful landscapes in Baja California Sur, learning Shibari as a language of communication, beauty, and trust.
Through daily rope practice in nature, guided photography sessions, encounters with the Mobula ray migration, and nights around the fire, you will return with a skill, with images, and with something harder to name — a shift in how you inhabit your own body and relate to others.
Led by Shibari artist Anastasia (Voudou Ropes), fine art photographer Shane Suazo, and Baja explorer Salvador Quiroz.
WHAT YOU WILL DEVELOP
Understand Shibari as connection, not just technique
Learn foundational rope structures in a safe, supported environment
Explore aesthetics, flow, and creativity through tying
Develop deep presence and attentive listening
Experience rope in extraordinary natural settings
Leave with professional photographs of your own journey
THE EXPERIENCE
Day 1 — Arrival & Fire - Arrive at San José del Cabo Airport and transfer to Barriles Waterfall. Set up camp, share a welcome dinner, and gather around the fire for your first introduction to rope with Anastasia.
Day 2 — Full Immersion - A complete day of Shibari practice — from foundational basics to partner tying, decorative knots, and sensory exploration. The day closes with a golden-hour tying session photographed against the landscape.
Day 3 — The Migration - Before sunrise, you depart for the open water. Witness the Mobula ray migration from the boat, visit sea lions at Pericos Reef, and move camp to Punta Arena — where the evening brings nightlight rope sessions under open sky.
Day 4 — Creativity & Ceremony - A morning of flow and creative expression in rope, followed by preparation for your personal photo session at sunset. The night closes with a fire ceremony, music, and ritual.
Day 5 — Integration & Departure - A morning of breathwork and reflection before departing for San José del Cabo, with a final lunch stop at Agricole restaurant.

Breathwork, Meditation & Conscious Movement
Five days. Wild landscapes. The Breath as your guide.
A nomadic journey through Baja California Sur, where conscious breathing becomes a tool for clarity, presence, and a return to yourself — practiced by the ocean, under open sky, and in the stillness of the desert.
WHAT THIS IS
This is not a wellness retreat. It is not a vacation.
It is a journey designed for people who are ready to slow down and actually feel what that means. Over five days, you will travel through some of the most powerful landscapes in Baja California Sur — from the grey whale nurseries of BahÃa Magdalena to the remote beaches of the Sea of Cortés — guided by breathwork, meditation, and somatic practice.
You will move through terrain that has its own rhythm. And slowly, yours will begin to match it.
Led by breathwork facilitator and transpersonal guide Marcela Beltrán and Baja explorer Salvador Quiroz.
WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
Breathwork is the conscious practice of using the breath to regulate the nervous system, access deeper emotional states, and create lasting change in how you feel — and how you function.
It is one of the oldest tools humans have. And one of the most underused.
In a single session, breath can shift your body from stress to stillness, surface what you've been carrying without realizing it, and restore a quality of presence that most of us have learned to live without.
In nature — far from noise, schedule, and screen — it becomes something else entirely: a language your body already knows, finally given space to speak.
No prior experience required. Only the willingness to show up and breathe.
WHAT YOU WILL CARRY HOME
A regulated nervous system — and the tools to return to that state on your own
Daily breathwork, meditation, and somatic practices you can integrate into your real life
Deeper clarity on what you want, what you're carrying, and what no longer serves you
A felt sense of your own body as a source of intelligence, not just a vehicle
An understanding of natural rhythms — the ocean, the desert, the seasons — as mirrors of your own inner cycles
Encounters with grey whales, open desert, mangroves, and the kind of silence most people have never actually experienced
THE EXPERIENCE
Day 1 — Arrival & Intention Arrive at San José del Cabo Airport and transfer to Casa Arre. Equipment check, itinerary walkthrough, and snacks before departing south to BahÃa Magdalena. Set up camp at sunset. Welcome dinner at 8 pm, followed by an opening circle — introductions, intentions, and the first breath together.
Day 2 — The Whales On the water by 6:30 am. Spend the morning with grey whales in the bay — some of the only places on earth where wild whales actively seek human contact. Return to camp for lunch, then travel to the Lobos Mangrove for an afternoon practice at 3:30 pm: breathwork in the shade, movement in the stillness, held by the landscape until sunset. Dinner, fire, guided meditation. Sleep by 9 pm.
Day 3 — Crossing Breakfast at 7 am. Break camp and drive from the Pacific to the Sea of Cortés — a full off-road crossing through the heart of Baja. Arrive at San Evaristo by early afternoon. Settle in, eat, then continue to a remote beach to make camp before golden hour. Evening practice: breathwork and meditation as the light drops into the water. Dinner, fire, stars.
Day 4 — Presence Wake with the sun. Morning practice, light breakfast. A full day of being — swimming, resting, connecting, exploring. Celebration in the evening: ceremony, fire, and the kind of night sky that makes everything else feel smaller and simpler.
Day 5 — Integration & Return Light breakfast at 8 am. Final breathwork and integration session. Pack camp. Depart for San José del Cabo by 11 am. Flights are recommended after 6 pm.
